Empower Sports Massage & Bodywork does not offer direct billing to health insurance companies but is happy to provide an itemized receipt or ‘superbill’ that the client can submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. The client is responsible for contacting their health insurance provider to verify that massage therapy is a covered benefit & for instructions on how to submit a claim. 

Empower Sports Massage & Bodywork accepts HSA/FSA cards & it is the responsibility of the client to contact their benefits provider to verify that this is an accepted expense and if a physicians note is required. 

I am now accepting PIP & WA state LNI claims. Before booking your appointment you must have a referral from a Dr. and the contact information for your adjuster/case manager. 

Clients are always told to dress to their level of comfort and will be draped according to Washington state massage laws. Due to the active nature of my treatments, I may ask you to come prepared with clothing you can freely move around in. 

Sports Massage can benefit anyone! Although my specialty is working with the athletic population; Sports Massage can also help people with chronic pain from current or past injuries. As well as decreasing pain & tension, Sports Massage can also help to enable more movement and improve energy levels. Clients often say they feel energized after their sessions with me! 

I charge a flat rate for all of my services, therefore tipping is not expected or encouraged. The best tip for my business would be a review or referral.
